Julie DiBari, CEO
Julie DiBari, MBA, PhD is CEO and founder of The Capacity Group. She has extensive experience creating measurable, sustainable impact for organizations. Her primary expertise is in team decision making and evaluation. She received her undergraduate degree in communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, her MBA from Babson College, and her PhD from the University of Rhode Island with a dissertation focus on team process and multiple stakeholder engagement in decision making. For the past six years, Dr. DiBari has taught in the MBA program at Providence College and has twice been a visiting lecturer at Brown University's Social Enterprise Fellows Program. Dr. DiBari has been involved in the social impact sector for over twenty years. She was recognized in the Boston Business Journal for the tools she created to advance corporate philanthropy, she won Adoption Rhode Island's Beacon of Hope award, and the Real Connections program she developed received Ashoka Changemakers recognition and a Bright Ideas award from Harvard University's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation.
